Whether the protection and maintenance of bearings are standardized or not directly affects the service life of bearings, and also directly affects the safe and efficient operation of motors. Therefore, it is necessary to do a good job of protection and maintenance on weekdays, according to the fault phenomena, deal with them in time to prevent the expansion of the fault, so as to prevent burning down the motor and causing greater economic losses.

The reason why the rolling bearing has abnormal sound and how to deal with it?

When the brushless DC motor is running, a screwdriver can be used, the tip is placed on the bearing cover, and the ear is close to the wooden handle of the screwdriver to monitor the sound of the bearing. If the rolling element has a vague rolling sound in the inner and outer rings, and the sound is monotonous and uniform, making people feel relaxed, it clarifies that the bearing is good and the motor is running normally. If you hear an abnormal sound, you should analyze the cause and deal with it.

Hearing obvious rolling and oscillating sound of the rolling body indicates that the bearing clearance is too large or severe wear and tear, which needs to be replaced.
The sound of the rolling body is dumb and the tone is heavy, indicating that the bearing lubrication grease is too dirty and impurities invade. Therefore, it is necessary to clean the bearing with fire oil and replace the new lubricating oil.
The rolling body has irregular crash sound, indicating that some rolling body of the bearing is broken and needs to be replaced.
similar to the sound of whistle, mixed with the rolling sound of the rolling body, indicating that the bearing is short of lubricating oil or lubricating oil selection is not appropriate, need to add clean lubricating oil or replace the appropriate lubricating oil.

Causes and treatment of rolling bearing heating

When the BLDC motor is placed for too long, the grease will deteriorate and become hard, and the new grease should be replaced in time.
If the lubricating oil in the bearing chamber is too much or too little, it should be added between 1/3 and 2/3 of the volume of the bearing chamber; and the lubricating oil of the same type should be added regularly according to the requirements of the BLDC motor.
There are debris in the bearing chamber. It is necessary to clean the bearing with kerosene and replace the new lubricant.
If the bearing wear is too large or the inner ring and outer ring are broken, replace the new bearing of the same model.
Motor running oscillation, improper coupling installation, too tight transmission belt and bending of the shaft will form bearing heat; the cause should be excluded according to the situation.
The bearing is not attached to the shoulder, the bearing cap is disassembled, and the inner ring of the bearing is pressed with a copper rod symmetrically with a hammer.
The end cap or bearing cap is not properly installed. It should be re-installed so that the end caps of the two ends cooperate well with the brackets of the base, and tighten the fastening bolts of the bearing caps diagonally.
The working performance of the rolling bearing depends not only on the precision of the bearing itself, but also on the dimensional accuracy, shape tolerance and appearance roughness of the shaft and hole cooperated with it, the cooperation of the selection and the correct installation.
